AC254 is a 254 m² autonomous social center that opened in September 2024 in Prague’s Holešovice district. It continues the lineage of Czech anarchist spaces that came before—Klinika, Milada, Cibulka, Salé, Zdena—while building something that fits current conditions.
The space runs on anarchist principles: equality, solidarity, and collective self-organization. It’s a non-commercial place for meeting, organizing, resting, sharing food, and spending time together without needing to buy your way in.
You’ll find a steady weekly rhythm, plus one-off events that shift with the moment: screenings, discussions, benefit events, author talks, small concerts, and book-focused gatherings tied to Prague’s anarchist publishing and zine networks. In November 2024, AC254 marked 10 years since Klinika’s original occupation (2014) with a joint celebration that raised funds for Infoshop Trhlina. The space has also hosted benefits connected to Solidarity Collectives / Ukraine support work, along with gatherings organized with Anarchistická federace.
Weekly rhythm (subject to change):
Tuesdays: Board game night
Wednesdays: People’s kitchen / communal meal (VoKü / lidová kuchyně)
Thursdays: Open hours (drop-in)
First visit tip: Wednesday’s kitchen is often the simplest way to step in—arrive for the meal, say hello to whoever’s cooking or holding the space, and ask what’s needed.
AC254 sits within walking distance of Holešovice’s industrial-turned-cultural zone. The building at Argentinská 18 hosts a small but consistent community, welcoming both longtime organizers and newcomers. Programming updates appear on their Instagram and Facebook, and they maintain a presence on Nostr for those avoiding corporate platforms.
Solidarity is their weapon—and the door is open.
