A Radical Guide commits at least $550 every month to grassroots mutual aid groups, ensuring they have the resources to sustain their work. As the fund grows, so does the number of groups we support. 100% of every donation goes directly to on-the-ground efforts, no overhead, no administrative costs deducted.
Mutual aid is a practice of solidarity where communities share resources, meet collective needs, and work toward collective liberation. Unlike traditional charity models, mutual aid is grounded in trust, cooperation, and the understanding that our struggles are interconnected.
We created this fund to ensure grassroots organizers and mutual aid groups have the tools to build resilient communities and address systemic oppression. Through this fund, we connect those with resources to those creating change, reinforcing the idea that true liberation comes from working together.
Every donation is matched up to $250
Each month, $550 goes directly to a mutual aid group in our network. We haven't missed a month since this program started. Contributions are matched up to $250.
When contributions exceed the monthly goal, the surplus builds until it can be put to work supporting urgent solidarity efforts outside our regular network, like mutual aid groups responding to the LA fires or organizations providing on-the-ground assistance to migrant families targeted by ICE in D.C.
As more people contribute, we grow our capacity to support these movements, not just month to month, but when it matters most.
