Sol Collective

Be the first to review

Sol Collective is a Sacramento-based arts and cultural center that has been a vital space for artistic expression, education, and community organizing since 2005. Spanning 3,200 square feet, the center offers art exhibitions, community workshops, youth programming, and a platform for public organizing, all with a focus on addressing the needs of historically underserved and marginalized communities.

Dedicated to fostering creativity and empowerment through art, activism, music, and media, Sol Collective provides youth with opportunities for training, development, and education in artistic and media disciplines. Its diverse team—composed of artists, educators, activists, and traditional health specialists—collaborates to create accessible, multicultural, and multigenerational programming that supports Sacramento’s vibrant communities and beyond.

As a dynamic cultural hub, Sol Collective adapts to the expressive needs of the people it serves, offering resources and safe spaces for art, media, technology, and self-care education, particularly for youth and communities of color. Nearly two decades later, Sol Collective remains a steadfast advocate for social justice, art, and community empowerment.
