Coletivo Anarco Feminista Insubmissas

The Unsubmissive Feminist Anarcho Collective is a gender-specific anarchist specific group for women (cis and trans), having a self-managed, horizontal, decentralized, federalist, leadershipless organization structure based on solidarity, equality, libertarian ethics, responsibility, cooperation, free agreement, and characterized as an affinity group. We periodically build, with great satisfaction, the Unsubmissive Feminist Anarch Zine. After a year of conducting the Anarco Feminist Periodic Study Group, in Baixada Santista, we founded the Insubmissas Anarchist Feminist Collective – CAFI in 2017 and we were able to carry out this project, where we expressed and pointed the agenda in our daily lives, such as violence (in all facets), women’s resistance, our outrage, indignation, criticism, analysis and poetry. The editorial group consists of members of the Anubar Feminist Collective Insubmissas-CAFI, where we produce part of the texts, arts and invite other anarchist women to send us materials, texts, arts, poetry to be part of these publications in a self-managed, horizontal and supportive way.

As mentioned above, we also held the Anarcho Feminist Periodic Study Group, where we meet monthly to get to know better anarchist women, their works and stories. We read, discuss and talk about Anarco Feminist theory and practice, thinking about fighting strategies today. The Anarco Feminist Periodic Study Group is organized and designed by the women members of NELCA and CAFI, and is a permanent and exclusive activity for all interested women (CIS and TRAN).

The Anarco Feminist Periodical Study Groups take place every last Sunday of the month at the Carlo Aldegheri Library (in the city of Guarujá / SP), headquarters of NELCA. Besides organizing various activities in our region, the Carlo Aldegheri Library, which is a cultural space, of historical study (with a look not only in the past, but in the present and also in the future); of political formation so that people can be deepening their theoretical and intellectual knowledge; It is also a space for bringing together people who really want to transform society. This discussion is very important in our current political situation, in order to theoretically broaden the debate and build strategies for action and resistance.

We organize various public activities such as conversation wheels, soiree and some regular activities, including Insubmissas Fest, a music festival with bands of mines, revolutionary ideals, seeking an exchange of experiences, knowledge and provide an unforgettable tour for each / to us !!! A space for bands, formed by women or with women in their formation, to introduce themselves, inspire us and give us their ideas. A space for learning, reflection and aggregation !!!
