Resist Project 2025 · A Radical Guide

Resist the
blueprint.
Protect
communities.

Project 2025 is a coordinated plan to centralize authoritarian control, erode civil rights, and dismantle protections for marginalized communities. This initiative tracks that blueprint, supports the people resisting it, and connects that work to mutual aid, community defense, and long-term organizing.

2026 Update

A large share of Project 2025's domestic regulatory agenda has already been initiated. Heritage and its allies have rolled out new policy plans under slogans like "The Golden Age is a choice," while the Trump administration continues centralizing executive power, targeting migrants, attacking public education, and elevating Christian nationalist policy. Who Project 2025 Targets

Project 2025 is a blueprint for long-term authoritarian control. Even as Heritage and the Trump administration shift branding and talking points, the core agenda continues. These are the communities most directly in its crosshairs.

Communities of Color
Reversing progress in civil rights and equity, disproportionately affecting Black communities and other people of color.
LGBTQ+ Individuals
Restricting gender-affirming care and rolling back anti-discrimination protections at every level of government.
Women
Limiting reproductive rights, increasing surveillance, and folding abortion bans into a broader moral order that defines whose bodies matter.
Immigrant Communities
Mass deportations, repealing humanitarian programs, and criminalizing community care for undocumented people.
People with Disabilities
Reducing Medicaid funding, eliminating critical health programs, and undermining the social safety net.

Three Areas of Action

Our strategy goes beyond short-term wins, centering on dismantling systems of oppression while building movements rooted in long-term liberation and sustainability.

01
Defending Civil Rights

Standing with movements working to protect rights and freedoms targeted by authoritarian policies. When communities face coordinated rollbacks, we show up with resources and solidarity.

02
Strengthening Community Resilience

Supporting mutual aid networks and everyday solidarity so communities can resist systemic oppression and adapt to ongoing crises without depending on the systems targeting them.

03
Advancing Grassroots Organizing

Providing material and strategic support to community-led movements that build collective power, resist oppressive systems, and create liberatory alternatives that outlast election cycles.
