Federalismo y autonomía son en síntesis las palabras que definen la estructura organizativa de la CGT. CGT se opone a toda tendencia y organización centralista, ya que ahoga toda iniciativa y pensamiento autónomo. Por ello, consideramos que el federalismo libertario es el mejor método de coordinar y unir en base de igualdad y mutuo respeto solidario a las personas, sindicatos, federaciones y confederaciones de la CGT. Todo ello con el convencimiento de que es mejor diversidad que uniformidad, responsabilidad personal colectiva que disciplina.
Federalism and autonomy are, in short, the words that define the organizational structure of the CGT. CGT opposes any tendency and centralist organization, since it stifles all initiative and autonomous thinking. Therefore, we believe that libertarian federalism is the best method of coordinating and uniting on the basis of equality and mutual respect for the people, unions, federations and confederations of the CGT. All this with the conviction that diversity is better than uniformity, collective personal responsibility than discipline.
