On July 9th, in partnership with Rights of Mother Earth Sonoma County we hosted a screening and talking circle on the topic of Traditional Environmental Knowledge (TEK).
The documentary was Tending the Wild. This documentary shines light on the environmental knowledge of indigenous peoples across California by exploring how communities have actively shaped and tended the land for millennia.
Discover how indigenous place-based knowledge can provide answers to some of our most pressing issues from climate change to public health. The film is co-produced by KCETLink Media Group and the Autry Museum.
