On July 9th, in partnership with Rights of Mother Earth Sonoma County, we hosted a screening and talking circle on the topic of Traditional Environmental Knowledge (TEK).
The documentary was Tending the Wild. This documentary shines a light on the environmental knowledge of indigenous peoples across California by exploring how communities have actively shaped and tended the land for millennia.
Discover how indigenous place-based knowledge can provide answers to some of our most pressing issues from climate change to public health. The film is co-produced by KCETLink Media Group and the Autry Museum.
