Founded in Berlin in 1922, it has fought for over a century against all odds for workers’ self-management and a libertarian form of organization. Today, it has organizations in 23 countries and has expanded into new regions of the world.

The IWA Friendship Circle is an anarcho-syndicalist workers' organization. Our values and how we operate are described in our principles on our website.
Our main project is currently the francophone "Le Porte-voix" and the anglophone solidarity bulletin "The Loudhailer." Starting 2027, we'll be distributung the later in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa regions. Subscribe for free on our website.
In parallel, we are building a network of mutual aid, mobilization, and solidarity. We also offer free lectures on various topics. We also organize public events, participate in coalitions, and take part in mobilizations.
