Food Not Bombs Lake Worth

Food Not Bombs is a left grassroots organization with hundreds of autonomous chapters throughout the world. We host weekly food shares in Lake Worth, FL. We are not a charity, we are neighbors and community members who want to take care of each other in rough times. We serve hot meals, give out fresh, local farm produce, and groceries. Everyone is welcome to join, no matter one’s background. Feel free to bring a dish to share.

FOOD NOT BOMBS LAKE WORTH WEEKLY SCHEDULE:
Tuesdays and Fridays at 5PM.

ADDRESS: We meet on the public sidewalk on Lake Avenue in between E and F Street, in front of the giant lizard mural. The building behind us is 1213 Lake Avenue, Lake Worth, FL 33460.

Our mission: We believe that food scarcity is a myth and that food is a right for all human beings. We believe in solidarity, not charity.

****NOTE ABOUT SPONTANEOUS EVENTS: Please message us directly to make sure we are at our regular location on a particular week. We sometimes go on “field trips” to support comrades’ causes. As a result, we occasionally change our location/times at random if we are participating in mutual aid.

****Public note about Covid19: We will be wearing masks and gloves while sharing food at all times. Food will also be prepacked and ready to go, to limit crowds and to encourage social distancing. We wish everyone safety and solidarity in this unpredictable time.
