Café ZAPATA VIVE

La UPREZ Benito Juárez, presenta una nueva iniciativa, un proyecto colectivo, el Café “ZAPATA VIVE”; un espacio que compartimos, construimos y fortalecemos contigo; este proyecto nace como un símbolo de RESISTENCIA y REBELDÍA contra el capitalismo y contra la globalización; pero sobretodo, nace para apoyar a las comunidades zapatistas y al EZLN, que dignamente resisten la explotación, el despojo, la represión y el desprecio del mal gobierno; y que a pesar de todo, construyen con mucha dignidad, territorio y comunidad.

En este espacio, además de disfrutar de un rico café zapatista, te ofrecemos alimentos y una variedad de postres; también podrás encontrar venta del café que producen las comunidades zapatistas, productos y artesanías; así mismo, en este espacio te puedes encontrar y te puedes escuchar desde tu geografía, desde tu lucha, desde tu resistencia y desde muy tu rebeldía.

Este Café que hemos llamado “ZAPATA VIVE”, es un reconocimiento al General Emiliano Zapata, por su lucha, resistencia y rebeldía contra el mal gobierno; pero también, como un reconocimiento al Ejercito Zapatista de Liberación Nacional, EZLN, que a 21 años del levantamiento por trabajo, tierra, techo, alimentación, salud, educación, independencia, libertad, democracia, justicia y paz, hoy son un ejemplo de cómo se gobiernan con autonomía y colectividad en cinco Caracoles y en las Juntas de Buen Gobierno. Como dicen los zapatistas: “Mientras los de arriba se enriquecen con paga, los de abajo se enriquecen con experiencias de lucha”.

The UPREZ Benito Juárez, presents a new initiative, a collective project, the Café “ZAPATA VIVE”; a space that we share, build and strengthen with you; This project was born as a symbol of RESISTANCE and REBELLION against capitalism and against globalization; but above all, it is born to support the Zapatista communities and the EZLN, which are worthily resisting exploitation, dispossession, repression and contempt for bad government; and that in spite of everything, they build with a lot of dignity, territory and community.

In this space, in addition to enjoying a rich Zapatista coffee, we offer you food and a variety of desserts; You can also find sale of the coffee produced by the zapatista communities, products and crafts; likewise, in this space you can find and you can hear from your geography, from your fight, from your resistance and from very your rebellion.

This Café that we have called “ZAPATA VIVE”, is a recognition to General Emiliano Zapata, for his struggle, resistance and rebellion against bad government; but also, as a recognition to the Zapatista Army of National Liberation, EZLN, that at 21 years of the uprising for work, land, shelter, food, health, education, independence, freedom, democracy, justice and peace, today are an example of how they are governed autonomously and collectively in five Caracoles and in the Good Government Juntas. As the Zapatistas say: “While those at the top enrich themselves with pay, those at the bottom are enriched by experiences of struggle”.
