Så skrev vi när vi öppnade kaféet 1984. Till detta kan vi även lägga ordet: politik.
Vi har sedan dess haft tusentals evenemang – i all dess former – och ätit å druckit å festat oss igenom decennier.
Kafé 44 är ett kafé som är öppet för många och drivs utan vinst.

So we wrote when we opened the cafe in 1984. To this we can also add the word: politics.
Since then, we have had thousands of events – in all its forms – and eaten on the river to entertain us for decades.
Café 44 is a cafe that is open to many and operates without profit.
