Biblioteca Anarquista Maria Rius

La Biblioteca Anarquista Maria Rius és un projecte que sorgeix de la inquietud d’unes persones amb ganes de tenir un espai on generar debat polític, on potenciar la reflexió i impulsar el creixement col·lectiu entorn de l’anarquisme. També pretén ser un lloc on s’incentivi la recuperació de la memòria històrica, en especial la trajectòria de la Lleida anarquista.

En aquesta biblioteca podràs trobar els següents espais:

-Biblioteca i espai de lectura: són tots els llibres, revistes i fanzines més les taules i cadires: el cor de l’espai. Pots consultar i estudiar el que vulguis a la mateixa biblioteca o endur-te en préstec a casa el que necessitis. El servei de préstec funciona durant un mes pels llibres o quinze dies per les revistes, els fanzines, els Cds i els DVDs.
El material que hi ha a la biblioteca és molt variat i interessant i el volum augmenta cada dia. Aprofita i no dubtis en passar-te per la biblio!

-Arxiu moviments socials (encara no disponible): aquí hi ha un munt de material (publicacions, , cartells, comunicats, material gràfic, etc.) relacionat amb els moviments socials i l’anarquisme, especialment aquí a Ponent. Està tot catalogat amb la intenció de facilitar l’estudi de les lluites a individus o col·lectius que ho desitgin. Per a més informació escriviu un correu electrònic a la biblioteca amb la paraula arxiu a l’assumpte.

-Material gratuït: a l’entrada de la biblioteca sempre hi trobaràs un espai ple de diaris, contrainformació i material que volem difondre. Pots agafar tot el que vulguis i endur-t’ho per repartir-ho al teu barri o poble, a la feina, a l’escola, etc.
També pots portar informació que vulguis difondre.

-Distri: al costat del material gratuït hi ha les distribuïdores. Aquests llibres estan en venda, el benefici del qual va destinat íntegrament a comprar llibres nous per la biblioteca, és a dir: una tercera part de cada llibre que compris servirà per comprar-ne un altre que podràs llegir com a sòcia!

-Espai d’escriptura a preses: fem memòria de la figura de Maria Rius que en la seva militància va destacar sobretot pel suport als companys i companyes preses. Aquí trobaràs informació sobre les diferents companyes que es troben rere les reixes de la presó a causa de les seves idees i pràctiques antiautoritàries. Volem tenir-les presents en la nostra biblioteca i facilitar el contacte amb elles. Disposem de sobres, cartes i segells gratuïts perquè els escriguis i, si vols, nosaltres les enviem. Trenquem els murs de l’aïllament.

-Despatx obert a associacions i col·lectius: si necessites un lloc per reunir-te amb el teu col·lectiu, envia un correu a la biblioteca per informar-te de la disponibilitat.

-A més a més tenim ordinadors portàtils i internet per a treballar a la biblioteca així com una taula on preparar-te una infusió per assaborir la tertúlia.

Com pots comprovar hem pensat moltes coses destinades a crear un espai que sigui acollidor i agradable i sobretot potent i combatiu.

La biblioteca pretén ser un espai de lectura i formació personal així com un lloc de trobada i debat entorn les idees antiautoritàries, les quals creiem més vigents i necessàries que mai per a avançar cap a una societat lliure. Amb aquesta intenció, a més a més dels espais fixos que trobareu a la biblioteca, s’aniran programant activitats, tallers, xerrades, lectures, presentacions, etc., on podràs participar sigui assistint o muntant-les, el que més t’agradi. També et recordem que la biblioteca està oberta per a programar-hi activitats.

Ens podràs trobar cada dilluns, dimarts, dimecres i dijous a la biblioteca de 16.30 h a 21.00 h.

Esperem així poder crear entre totes una consciència col·lectiva de lluita que puguem aplicar al dia a dia.

Maria Rius Anarchist Library is a project that arises from the concern of some people who want to have a space where they can generate political debate, where they promote reflection and promote collective growth around anarchism. It also aims to be a place where the recovery of historical memory is encouraged, especially the history of the anarchist Lleida.

In this library you will find the following spaces:

-Biblioteca y espacio de lectura: they are all the books, magazines and fanzines plus the tables and chairs: the heart of the space. You can consult and study what you want in the same library or take home loan what you need. The loan service works for one month for books or fifteen days for magazines, fanzines, CDs and DVDs.
The material in the library is very varied and interesting and the volume increases every day. Take advantage and do not hesitate to visit the library!

-Archive social movements (not yet available): here is a lot of material (publications, posters, announcements, graphic material, etc.) related to social movements and anarchism, especially here in Ponent. It is all cataloged with the intention of facilitating the study of the struggles of individuals or groups that wish it. For more information, write an email to the library with the word file in the subject.

-Material free: at the entrance of the library you will always find a space full of newspapers, counter-information and material that we want to spread. You can take whatever you want and take it to share it in your neighborhood or town, at work, at school, etc.
You can also bring information that you want to spread.

-Distri: along with free material there are distributors. These books are for sale, the benefit of which is entirely intended to buy new books for the library, that is: a third of each book that you buy will be used to buy another that you can read as a member!

-Spot of writing to prisoners: we take a look at the figure of Maria Rius who, in her militancy, stood out above all for the support of colleagues. Here you will find information about the different companies that are behind the bars of the prison due to their ideas and anti-authoritarian practices. We want to keep them in our library and facilitate contact with them. We have envelopes, free letters and stamps for you to write them and, if you wish, we will send them. Break the walls of the insulation.

-Despatx open to associations and groups: if you need a place to meet with your group, send an email to the library to inform you of the availability.

-We also have laptops and internet to work in the library as well as a table where you prepare an infusion to savor the discussion.

As you can see, we have thought a lot of things designed to create a space that is cozy and pleasant and above all powerful and combative.

The library aims to be a space for reading and personal training as well as a place to meet and debate the anti-authoritarian ideas, which we believe are more effective and necessary than ever to move towards a free society. With this intention, in addition to the fixed spaces that you will find in the library, activities, workshops, talks, readings, presentations, etc. will be programmed, where you can participate by attending or assembling them, whatever you like . We also remind you that the library is open for scheduling activities.

You can find us every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the library from 4.30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Hopefully, we can create among all a collective consciousness of struggle that we can apply to every day.
