Here at A Radical Guide, we strive to inform and connect people about what is happening in communities around the world, knowing that when we learn from each other we can better support each other and build a stronger community.
Here in the United States, white supremacy is no longer in the shadows and is now out in the open, supported and enforced by our government, and is gaining more and more traction. We also recognize that this is not limited to the United States, similar acts are growing around the world.
It has always been important for us to come together, as a community, to push back and dismantle the rise of fascism and white supremacy. We must also understand the systemic nature of white supremacy within our daily lives and our government and the historical rhythms that continuously try to keep global power in the hands of rich, white men while trying to destroy and enslave the people. Knowing our anti-fascist history is not enough, in addition to being in the streets blocking the rise of fascism, we must also help spread information within our community that helps people know how to be safe and to stand up to this government support oppression.
A Radical Guide has been and will continue to share more historical information to connect more and more people with anti-fascist history through posting historical locations and stories, streaming videos/documentaries/How-to’s via Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, and on A Radical Guide’s film site, to help spread information within our community. We invite you to help spread this information as well.
In addition to the above actions, we want to bring your attention to Know Your Rights Video Series.
Know Your Rights is produced by the National Lawyers Guild – S.F. Bay Area Chapter as a tool kit to equip people with practical information to protect themselves and their neighbors from unlawful arrests through tools that spark conversation, education, and engagement online and in communities across the United States.
A Radical Guide will be streaming these videos on our Twitter and Facebook accounts to help boost awareness of them.
